However, if you need to carry an extra one, there's also a three bike version available as well. RockyMounts Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2018 Kia Soul- Video
Hey, everyone, today we have a 2018 Kia Soul, and we're going to do a test fit of the RockyMounts WestSlope two-bike platform rack. Now, this platform rack's going to be mounted to the hitch of your Kia Soul. It's going to allow you to carry a few bikes to and from the trails. It has a nice tiered loading system, so the second bike, when loaded, is going to sit about four inches hire than your front bike, and that's going to help prevent a lot of handle bar contact.It's also going to help increase your ground clearance. At the back here we're going to have a ground clearance measurement of about 27 inches, which is more than enough space to prevent any bottoming out on any inclines you go up.Now, like a lot of platform racks, this does tilt away from the vehicle, and how we're going to do that is pull this blue T pin and let it tilt away, and this allows us to gain access to the trunk. You see when we open up the Soul, we've got plenty of space between the handle bars and the hatch. more

Saris Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2018 Kia Soul- Video
Hey everyone. Today we have a 2018 Kia Soul and we're going to do a test fit of the Saris Freedom EX 2 Bike Platform Rack.This platform rack's going to mount to the hitch of your Kia Soul. It's going to allow you to carry up to two bikes, to and from the trails or wherever else you want to take them. It's going to hold your bike at three different points, kind of in a unique way. We're going to have a strap on the front wheel as our first point, second point's going to be back here the same strap on the rear wheel. Now instead of having a frame grip putting downward force on top of our frame, or anything like that, we actually have another cradle that is on our downtube right here.It's got nice padding as you can see right there. more

Swagman Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2017 Kia Soul- Video
Today on our 2017 Kia Soul, we're going to be test fitting the Swagman XC two-bike rack, part number S64650. We already have the bike installed on the rack, so let's go ahead and take a closer look and show off some of the features. First off, how the bike is attached to the rack. We're going to have one point of contact and that's going to be this padded frame hook up at the top. Now it's padded to make sure that once you do install your bike, it doesn't get scratched up. We also have these adjustable wheel cradles at the bottom here, and this will accommodate different-sized bikes. more

Kuat Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2017 Kia Soul- Video
Today on 2017 Kia Soul we're going to be test fitting the Kuat NV 2.0 2 Bike Platform Rack for 1-1/4" hitches. Part number NV12G. We already have a bike installed on the rack, let's go ahead and take a closer look and show off some of the features. Now, the most prominent feature of this bike rack is the fact that you can't tilt this away from the vehicle with the bike still attached to get to your rear hatch. To do that we'll hold onto the bike rack, and you come to this switch here, pull towards you, let it come down, and now we have full access to our hatch. We'll just lift it back up and to its original position until you hear that click. Now, how the bike is actually attached to the rack, we're going to have two points of contact with no frame contact at all. more

Swagman Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2016 Kia Soul- Video
Today, on our 2016 Kia Soul, we'll be doing a test fit on the Swagman G10 Platform Style 2-Bike Rack. That's part number S64682. I've already got it loaded up on the Kia, just to give you a good idea of what it looks like and how it's going to work with our bikes. It actually secures our bikes in 3 spots. We've got a frame hook going over our top tube here, putting down pressure into our front and rear cradles, and then we've got a strap going over our wheels keeping our bike in place. One of the greatest features about this bike rack is it has the ability to tilt away with bikes loaded, so we can gain easy access to our rear hatch. What we'll want to do is we'll come down here to this black handle. more

Today on our 2013 Kia Soul, we're doing a test fit of the Swagman XC 2 Platform Style 2 Bike Rack. That part number is S64650. Now we already have our bike secured down. I'm first going to show you how we do that. Here on the center we have our frame hook, which is going to hold our bike down into our wheel cradles at the bottom and secure it in place. You're not going to have much movement from that bike as you head down the road. We'll just squeeze that together and lift up and out of the way to remove it. With that off, we'll start by taking some measurements. more

Today on this Kia Soul, we're going to be test fitting the Swagman XC 2-Bike Rack, part number S64650. We already have a bike installed on the rack. Let's go ahead and take a closer look and show off some of the features. How the bike attach to the rack, we're going to have 1 point of contact, and that's going to be the frame at the top with this hook here, and it is padded so once you install this the bike itself will not get damaged. We also have 2 adjustable wheel wells to accommodate different size bikes. Let's go ahead and take the bike off and set it aside. To do that, you want to grip a hold of the bike when you release the hook because you don't want it falling forward into the vehicle and possibly damaging it. You go to the bottom of the hook here and there's this gray button. more

Let's go and take a closer look and show off some of the features. This does have an integrated cable lock up here at the top of the mast behind the bike. Lift it out, wrap it around your bikes and it would connect to this point here and be locked into place for some additional security. How the bike attaches to the rack, you're going to have three points of contact with the bike's frame. more

We already have our bike secured down, but first, we're going to show you how to do that. Today on a 2015 Kia Sole we are doing a test fit of the Swagman XC2 Platform style bike rack. The product number is S64650. Now we already have our bike installed, we're first going to show you how we secure it in place. We have our frame hook here. That pushes our bike down into our wheel cradles. Now you may notice on this bike rack compared to others we don't have any wheel straps of any kind. Now I can confirm reading customer reviews and my own experience with this bike rack you don't have to worry about adding extra straps or anything, that this frame hook does really well to hold this bike down. more

Saris Freedom SuperClamp Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Kia Soul- Video
Today on our 2015 Kia Soul we're going to be doing a test fit on the Saris Freedom Superclamp. This is a platform-style 2-bike rack. Part number on it is SA4025. This rack's been designed for use with 1-1/4" or 2" hitches, so you've got options there. The nice thing about it is that there's no actual frame contact with the rack holding the bike. We've got a wheel hook here in the rear, lower wheel cradle. more

Today on our 2015 Kia Soul we're going to be taking a look at the Swagman Trailhead. This is a folding and tilting 4-bike rack. It's been designed so you can use it with the 1-1/4" or 2" hitches regardless of whether it's class one, two, or three. The part number on it is S63380. The Trailhead's going to use four straps to hold our bike in place. We're going to have three that come across our frame, and then we've also got one here to prevent that forward and back movement of the bike during transport. more

Today, on our 2011 Kia Soul, we will be test fitting part number TH990XT. This is the Thule Double Track platform style 2 bike carrier for both 1-1/4 and 2 inch hitches. Now, to begin our test fit, we have already removed our included adapter for the 2-inch hitch so we will go ahead and slide our bike rack shank into the hitch, line up the hitch pin hole and install our anti-rattle bolt. With our bolt tight, we will put the lock on the other side which will secure our bike rack to the vehicle. Now we will go ahead and give you a few measurements. Our ground clearance at the bike rack is 7 inches and from the closest point of the bike rack to the back of the vehicle is 3/4 inches. more

Our ground clearance at the back of the bike rack is 13 inches and from the closest point of the bike rack platform to the back of the vehicle is 6-1/2 inches. We will now go ahead and unfold our bike rack platform and open our cargo door. more

Today, on our 2011 Kia Soul, we will be test fitting part number A30403. This is the Sport Rack Escape 3 bike hitch mounted folding bike rack for both 1-1/4 inch and 2 inch hitches. Now, we have gone ahead and removed the included adapter for the 2 inch hitches so we are ready to fit it to the vehicle. Today, on our 2011 Kia Soul, we will be test fitting the Rhodegear Highway 2 bike carrier, part number RG8015220. To begin our test fit, we will simply slide our bike rack shank into the hitch, line up the hitch pin hole and install and tighten down our anti-rattle bolt. With our bolt tight, our rack is secured to the vehicle. Now, we will go ahead and give you a few measurements. Our ground clearance with the bike rack is 7 inches and from the closest point of the bike rack to the back of the vehicle is 5-1/2 inches. We will now go ahead and pull the pin at the bottom of the bike rack mast to tilt the mast down. more

We will now go ahead and unfold the bike rack platform and open up our cargo door. And as you can see, we can gain full access to the cargo area, opening the door completely with this bike rack. more
